Darus Salaam’s Hifz class is a program designed for boys to memorize the entire Quran. The program is structured and rigorous, requiring a commitment of several years. The students attend classes regularly and work closely with their teachers to memorize the Quran, one chapter at a time.
The Hifz class at Darus Salaam mosque is open to boys who have completed their Quranic studies and have demonstrated a strong aptitude for memorization. The students are expected to have a strong foundation in Quranic recitation, pronunciation, and understanding. The program is designed to be challenging, but the teachers provide support and guidance to help the students overcome difficulties and progress in their memorization.
The Hifz class has a structured curriculum that covers the entire Quran. The students start with shorter chapters and progress to longer ones as they develop their memorization skills. The program also includes classes on Tajweed, the rules of Quranic recitation, to ensure that the students recite the Quran correctly and with proper pronunciation.
This is a demanding program that requires discipline, dedication, and hard work from the students. The students are expected to attend classes regularly and to memorize a set amount of Quranic verses or chapters each day. They are also required to review and revise their memorization regularly to ensure that they retain what they have learned.
The Hifz class provides a supportive and motivating environment for the students to memorize the Quran. The teachers are experienced and qualified in teaching Quranic memorization, and they use various teaching methods to help the students learn and retain the Quran. The students also work together to support and motivate each other, creating a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
Upon completion of the Hifz class, the students have memorized the entire Quran and have gained a deep understanding and appreciation of its teachings. They are recognized for their achievement and are often called upon to recite the Quran at mosque events and community gatherings. The Hifz class also prepares the students to become leaders and role models in the Muslim community, inspiring others to deepen their knowledge and practice of Islam.
